A Library Jubilee!
A Library Jubilee! is the Fairfax Library Foundation’s premier annual fundraising event, and we are excited to announce that the 7th annual Jubilee will be held Saturday, October 17, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the Woodrow Wilson Library in Falls Church, Virginia. This beautifully remodeled branch is the perfect location to host our celebration of the Fairfax County Public Library--and we hope you will join us!
You won’t want to miss the opportunity to join fellow library supporters, including elected officials, business leaders, donors, and other notable members of the community for an evening that features musical entertainment, delicious light fare and refreshments, and an auction (both silent and live) of donated items so fabulous that you’ll undoubtedly be tempted to bid--especially because winning means you and the library both benefit!
As with every year, the Foundation is seeking sponsors for the Jubilee, as well as donations for the live and silent auctions. Past sponsors include our generous Friends of the Library groups, as well as ExxonMobil, A.J. Dwoskin & Associates, Zulu Nyala Game Lodge, Elite Island Resorts, and NOVEC, among many others. Suggested auction items include vacation and spa packages, golf outings at area country clubs, autographed books or sports memorabilia, fine art and jewelry, tickets to sporting events or theater productions, gift cards for local or online merchants, etc.
