A Library Jubilee!
Co-chairs, Sally Merten and Sushma S. Shenoy-Saluja invite you to mark your calendar for A Library Jubilee! to be held at The Mathy House, home of George Mason University President, Alan and Sally Merten, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2010.
Hundreds of library lovers including elected officials, business leaders and notable authors will gather for a jubilant reception celebrating Fairfax County Public Library service since 1939.
Prepare to bid on autographed best sellers while enjoying the lively music provided by the George Mason University Jazz Ensemble led by Jim Carroll.

Tickets
An individual ticket is $70.
Two tickets are $125.

The live auction led by Quinn’s Auction Galleries is sure to entertain while bidders vie for the opportunity to:

Due to drastic reductions to the Fairfax County Public Library budget, your generosity will help to support and demonstrate your commitment to continuing threatened library programs. In 2009, Fairfax Library Foundation proudly hosted A Platinum Jubilee!, co-chaired by Sally Merten and Sushma Shenoy-Saluja, celebrating 70 years of Fairfax County Public Library service. This unique celebration raised more than $90,000 to support Fairfax County Public Library programs & services.
