A Library Jubilee!

Co-chairs, Sally Merten and Sushma S. Shenoy-Saluja invite you to mark your calendar for A Library Jubilee! to be held at The Mathy House, home of George Mason University President, Alan and Sally Merten, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2010.

Hundreds of library lovers including elected officials, business leaders and notable authors will gather for a jubilant reception celebrating Fairfax County Public Library service since 1939.

Prepare to bid on autographed best sellers while enjoying the lively music provided by the George Mason University Jazz Ensemble led by Jim Carroll.

In 2009, Fairfax Library Foundation proudly hosted A Platinum Jubilee!, co-chaired by Sally Merten and Sushma Shenoy-Saluja, celebrating 70 years of Fairfax County Public Library service. This unique celebration raised more than $90,000 to support Fairfax County Public Library programs & services.
