Joan M. Kane
Joan Kane is the founder and Director of Investment Planning Solutions LLC located in Fairfax, Virginia. A veteran of the financial services industry, Ms. Kane began her career with Merrill Lynch in Washington, DC. After more than 20 years of helping clients achieve their financial goals, she founded IPS to provide her clients with sound, unbiased financial advice with a high level of personal service.
With a strong commitment to the community, Joan serves as the Chair of the Fairfax County Library Foundation after serving as Treasurer from 2004 – 2006. Joan has served on several other local Boards and is an active volunteer in the Fairfax County Public School system, where both of her children are currently attending South County Secondary School. Joan has received numerous awards and has been nationally recognized within the financial services industry. She has been a regular guest commentator on the local CBS television affiliate WUSA TV 9, providing viewers with insight into the markets, investments and the economy.
